The Magic: The Gathering - Modern Horizons 2 - Set Booster Box contains 30 Modern Horizons 2 Set Boosters. Each Set Booster contains 12 Magic cards, 1 Art Card, and 1 token, ad card, or special card from Magic's history (a card from "The List"), with a combination of 1–4 Rares and/or Mythic Rares, 6–10 Uncommon and Commons (max. of 8 may be Common), and 1 Land card. One non-Art Card of any rarity is a traditional foil. A foil Retro-Frame Fetch Land appears in less than 1% of boosters, and a foil-stamped Signature Art Card replaces the Art Card in 5% of Set Boosters. A card from The List replaces the token/ad card in 25% of Set Boosters.

Highlights of the Modern Horizons 2 Sealed Set Boosters contents include:
- One Art card or foil-stamped art card
- 1 Traditional foil (any rarity and includes new-to-Modern reprints, showcase sketch frame cards, retro frame cards, and rare and mythic rare borderless cards)
- 1 New-to-Modern reprint (uncommon, rare, or mythic rare)—there are 42 reprints that are introduced to Modern with Modern Horizons 2. You get one of the 42 cards in this slot.
- 1 Rare (including the five enemies fetch lands) or mythic rare
In addition to all that guaranteed goodness, the Modern Horizons 2 Set Boosters can have an additional rare or mythic rare (so the best packs could have up to four cards that are rare or mythic rare).
Plus, 25% of the packs will have a card from The List. Only a Planeswalker symbol on cards from the list distinguishes it from the original.
