What does VGMX Purchase?
VGMX purchases a variety items such as:
- Video Games such as Nintendo, Sega, PlayStation and Xbox.
- Trading Card Games- Pokémon, Magic the Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh
- Video Game Consoles and accessories such as controllers or external storage
- Pop! Figures and so much more
What condition does items need to be in?
VGMX prides itself on providing the highest of quality used products to our customers. To keep these standards products that are purchased must meet these criteria:
- Video Games: Discs must be clean with little to no scratches and in working condition. Cartridges must be in good, clean and working condition.
- Video Game Consoles: Consoles must be clean and in working order. Due to sanitary reasons VGMX does not purchase used headphones.
- Pop! Figures or other items that are considered must be new/sealed in the box with little to no damage to the box or product.
Trading Cards Buy-Sell-Trade Process
Our goal is to offer fair trade-in value while keeping the shop stocked with high-demand cards. The trading market shifts constantly, so our policies may evolve over time to keep the shop healthy and stocked. We reserve the right to decline any trade-in for any reason or make exceptions for any items. To maintain a healthy inventory and sustainable business model, we use the following standards for all trade-ins. Condition and overall demand may adjust these values.
Condition: NM-LP Cards $1-99:
Store Credit: VGMX Offers 60% of TCGPlayer market price in store credit.
Cash: VGMX Offers 50% of TCGPlayer market price in Cash
Condition: NM-LP Cards $100+:
Store Credit: VGMX Offers 70% of TCGPlayer market price in store credit.
Cash: VGMX Offers 60% of TCGPlayer market price in Cash
Condition: MP-HP Cards:
Store Credit: VGMX Offers 50% of TCGPlayer market price in store credit.
Cash: VGMX Offers 40% of TCGPlayer market price in Cash
Bulk TCG Cards Buy Rates:
We buy bulk at the following base rates per 1,000 cards (condition may affect pricing):
Magic: $5 cash $7 Trade per 1,000 cards
Yu-Gi-Oh: $5 cash $7 Trade per 1,000 cards
Pokémon: $7 cash $10 Trade per 1,000 cards
One Piece: $5 cash $7 Trade per 1,000 cards
Smaller quantities may be prorated.
What if I have a large collection or high-valued items?
VGMX does buy large collections. If you have a large collection or high-valued items please call VGMX at 614-431-5556 Monday-Friday between the hours of 10-5 and ask to speak to a manager.
What Store Credit Cannot Be Used For:
- CGC or PSA Card Grading
- Food and Beverages
- Event Entry Fees

VGMX recommends to call 614-431-5556 to ensure VGMX is buying the items you are looking to sell. For the safety of VGMX employees and customers; VGMX has a limited amount of cash on location. Larger cash trades will be paid as a business check to the seller. VGMX does not send Venmo, PayPal, Cash App or any other peer-to-peer electronic payments. Legally sellers MUST be at least 18 with a valid non-expired State ID.
