TimeSplitters 2 is a first-person shooter video game released in 2002 for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, and GameCube. In the game, players control a space marine who must travel through time to recover time crystals from an alien race called the TimeSplitters. The TimeSplitters are altering human history to enslave humanity, and the player must stop them by destroying their time travel and collecting the crystals. The game features nine time-traveling episodes, over 90 characters and enemies, and detailed environments across historical eras like the 1920s and Aztec temples. Players can also customize their player mode and use the mapmaker.
