As the men and women of Funeral work on repairing their base, Frank lies in a coma. In an attempt to revive him, he is to be taken to a secret location. But en route, they are attacked and after Ryu fends off the attacker, he finds that the secret location is a place he never wanted to see again. A stratospheric interceptor pilot makes an emergency landing for repairs. It's Rick Steiner, Takuto's best friend from college. And, although he fails to recognize Ryu, he does confide in him about a shameful secret from his past. And the aliens arrive again, but this time, they come from within, bringing a startling secret that threatens to destroy the pilot's faith in funeral.
